Carroll Hospice is pleased to partner with Pritts Funeral Home to honor Vietnam veterans for their service to our country.
On Sunday, August 11, Pritts will host a Vietnam Veteran Honoring Celebration at 1 p.m.
All veterans who served at any time on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces, regardless of location, during November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975 are welcome to attend and receive a Vietnam Veteran Lapel Pin on behalf of a grateful nation.
Speakers will include Carroll County Commissioners Ed Rothstein and Stephen Wantz, and volunteers from Carroll Hospice’s We Honor Veterans program will pin the Vietnam veterans and give them a presidential proclamation.
“It’s a time to honor and celebrate Vietnam veterans in the community,” says Carroll Hospice volunteer coordinator Kim Benson.
Please RSVP by Friday, August 9 to 410-848-7533 with the name of the veteran so that everyone can be properly honored.
The celebration will take place at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.
